Ground School Registration

2024 Classes now open for registrations!

We recommend that you conduct your Ground School and flight training concurrently. If you have not already started your flight training, you can book your Discovery flight here or start your Admissions process here! This ground school is for both our Burlington and Parry Sound campuses.

*Please note that the minimum age to begin flight training at Spectrum Airways is 16 years of age. If you are under 16 years, but would still like to begin your ground school, please contact admissions@spectrumairways.com.

*Please note that if you miss a class, you will be required to book a private session with an Instructor to cover the missed material. Due to Transport Canada requirements, your camera must be ON at all times throughout the online class to verify that you are in attendance. We recommend you log in early to each class to ensure you do not have any technical issues. If your camera is not on, you will not be permitted to remain in the class and must make up the class privately with an Instructor. The cost associated with this is CAD$95/hour.

1-On-1 Ground School (Online)

Our 1-On-1 Ground School is a great option if you have a unique schedule, want to accelerate your learning, or want the consistency of a single instructor for all ground instruction.

You will submit your availability and we will pair you with an instructor that can work with your preferred schedule. The selected instructor will contact you, and then you can set up when you will have your Zoom ground school sessions.
