A minimum of 40 hours of ground school sessions is required. Our comprehensive ground school course consists of 16 sessions, taking 3 hours per session, and is held in the classroom facilities at the airport. Ground School is not a prerequisite for flight training; however, it is recommended to do both at the same time, if you can. It will provide a better understanding of the flight theory and allow you to practise in the air, what you are learning in the classroom. This Power Point course will help you to learn everything that is required for your written test.
A Transport Canada Flight Test and Written Examination are required. The Flight Test is administered by a Transport Canada examiner. The written examination is conducted at a Transport Canada office.
